Emotion Run High: Panthers Player Slaps Battle Hawks Fan On Sideline

The United Football League (UFL) is entering the backstretch of its second season, and fans and players alike are full of emotions.

This past weekend, we saw those emotions get the best of Samson Nacua, Michigan Panthers (WR), as he and an opposing fan got into a heated altercation that ended with Nacua slapping the guy in the face. Michigan CB Adonis Alexander was also involved in the altercation but did not lay hands on anyone; however, he was seen taunting the fan after he took the lick.

The UFL released the following statement following the incident.

The slap incident is the first controversy to hit the newly founded Spring Football League and will likely set a precedent for what the league will do to players who break its rules and regulations. According to some sources, the slap will result in a one-game suspension. It wasn’t a punch, and we don’t know the details surrounding the incident.
