The Atlanta Falcons have signed former XFL running back Jashaun Corbin.
Corbin led all UFL players in rushing yards during the 2025 season with the San Antonio Brahmas. He played in 10 games, recording 97 carries for 514 yards and four touchdowns, as well as 18 receptions for 138 yards. He also ranked third in all-purpose yards in the UFL, accumulating 252 yards as a kick returner and totaling 904 yards for the season.
Despite his breakout year in the UFL, the Brahmas were only able to win one game this season and finished at the bottom of the XFL division.
Corbin’s NFL History
Corbin, who is 24 years old, has previous NFL experience. He joined the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and remained on the practice squad during his rookie year.
In 2023, he was briefly with the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad before returning to the Giants later that season. He appeared in six games for New York, registering one carry for 1 yard and three receptions for 12 yards, before being placed on injured reserve before the 2024 season.
In a related move, the Falcons released running back Jase McClellan. Atlanta had selected McClellan in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft from the University of Alabama. As a rookie, he appeared in two games, participating in 19 offensive snaps and eight special-teams snaps.
In Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks, Corbin had five carries for 17 yards, and in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos, he recorded eight carries for 15 yards. McClellan was placed on injured reserve in Week 15 following a knee injury.
